I wanted cameras for the front and back of our house. The front to notify us if someone we didnt know was near our house or cars. Our cars tank got siphoned, and we dont want that to happen again at over $5 a gallon right now, this camera cost less than replacing that tank of gas. The back is set to notify us if someone goes in the backyard. We had a neighbor decided our pool was available to them and their friends when we werent home, so I want to make sure they honor the request to not be in the backyard when we arent home. Of all the cameras weve had in the past, this one has the best quality pics by far. Its also has an incredibly battery life. Because of where these are installed, I did not use the solar panel, yet the battery lasts an average of 3 months so far. Well see how they do in the brutal Arizona summer, but so far, were super pleased. Hands down the best camera weve used (and weve had some expensive ones in the past!). I definitely recommend this camera - I think I paid $90 for the first one and got it on sale for like $60 for the second one. The quality and value cant be beat!

night time it turns into spider like on the screen can't see nothing very good other then that they work pretty good just wish night time was better that when the crime happens they still my gas flatten tires they leave the cap on ground or take them most times how I know there being flatten

From pairing with your router wifi to the install\mounting in or outside your home, this is a very painless & easy camera to work with. I bought the 2 package deal, one cam is mounted on an existing pole that is in use with a TV antenna using a custom-made metal sheet. The other cam is installed on the underside of a porch roof. Mount points are flexible, just find a suitable spot with plenty of sunshine. So far using the cams for a week I've not noticed anything less than a full battery charge as viewed in the app. The app standard motion detect is variable, you can even vary the 'human detection' to increase\decrease sensitivity. You can save a screen shot from a video to an 'album' folder also, but to save an entire video clip from the mini card I gather you would need to pull it from the cam and connect it to a pc to transfer the file. (but how often will you need to do that?) Many plusses for these cams, they are a good addition to several full time 'onvif' cams to monitor your property. When you are away from home you can get a live cam view on you cell phone using the Cloud edge app, available in the play store. Use Cloud Edge, settings, install guide, it starts a wizard and lets you know if your cam install location will work with the wifi signal.
